Analyst, Better Practice Solutions (Fixed Hybrid)

The Better Practice Solutions Team supports UCLA Health Clinics' mission to deliver leading-edge patient care by providing reporting and analytics, promoting operational excellence, and helping to ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care.

As an integral member of the Better Practice Solutions Team, the Analyst will work closely with the Better Practice Solutions Manager to help drive efficiency and effectiveness of clinical operations through financial sustainability and performance improvement. The Analyst will be expected to serve as liaison in certain capacities with operational teams and leaders across UCLA Health's Ambulatory Enterprise.

The Analyst will help inform and implement UCLA Health's Ambulatory Strategy by monitoring and reporting out on operational metrics such as staffing needs/volume, utilization patterns, patient demand, and referral leakage, for assigned service lines/areas.

Using deep insight, critical thinking, and operational expertise, the Analyst will work to monitor access, efficiency, and productivity of UCLA Health practices. When areas of opportunity are identified, the Better Practice Solutions Office will partner with leadership to develop, execute, and assess performance improvement plans using tools and strategies such as financial and operational SWOT analysis, PDSA cycles, and Lean methodologies.
