Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Test Engineer to join our engineering team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about testing, problem-solving, and ensuring the highest quality standards in products or systems. You will assist in developing and executing test plans, documenting results, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 DOE



Responsibilities

    Assist in the design, development, and execution of test procedures and test cases for new and existing products.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed.
  • Document test results, identify defects, and track them through resolution.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and quality teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Maintain test equipment and ensure the test environment is up to date and calibrated.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Provide timely feedback and documentation on issues, risks, and improvements.
  • Participate in design and code reviews as required.


Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a testing, quality assurance, or engineering support role.
  • Basic knowledge of testing principles, QA methodologies, and engineering processes.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and scripting languages is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Lab environment - may have limited exposure to heat, dust, and machinery.
  • Use of company provided PPE required (safety glasses)
  • Standing, lifting, and handling materials for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., more frequently lifting 10 to 15 lbs.
