Apex Companiesis searching for a water/wastewater intern at ourGlastonbury, CTlocation. As awater/wastewater Intern, you will foster a positive safety culture while supporting the design team working on local projects that make positive community impacts. Your Responsibilities as an Intern: Field Work: Collecting GPS invert measurements for drainage manholes and catch basin assets to be included on the projects base map. Office Work: Organize data collected in the field and assist the project team with development of basemaps in AutoCAD Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred Perform QA/QC on existing plans based on field work to ensure accuracy General office duties as assigned Who we are looking for: Collegiate Undergraduate in the engineering or construction management field Experience with Microsoft Office Ability to work outside during the summer Ability to carry 20 pounds of equipment Strong attention to detail Good communication and organizational skills Has transportation and a valid driver's license Why you'll love working for us: Interesting projects spanning a wide range of disciplines Working with the best and brightest in the industry. 1,500+ employee national firm with 50+ locations across the US.
