GENERAL FUNCTION

The Asset Protection Supervisor (APS) will support Asset Protection and Operational Programs, which safeguard the assets of the Company: merchandise, money, property and the welfare of our customers and associates in geographical area assigned. Through identification of internal and external problems, the APS will assist in mitigating losses that negatively affect assigned locations.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Drive the shrink reduction programs/activities in assigned area.
  • Prepare stores and support thephysical inventory process.
  • Assist in projects that prevent oreliminate fraud and operational deficiencies.
  • Conduct assessments that identify internal dishonesty, operational problems, and training needs.
  • Conduct shrink surveys in focus stores and Business Evaluations in focus locations.
  • Manage the delivery and execution of AP training programs.
  • Work with store teams to correct operational problems and training needs.
  • Complete internal investigations/interviews and assist local RMAP/RMI with internal and external investigations.
  • Respond to external incidents and represent the organization in court cases when necessary.
  • Act as a liaison between law enforcement, Asset Protection, Human Resources, and Operations
  • Monitors/reviews incident reports, looking for patterns of loss or training opportunities, partners with RMAP/RMIs on findings immediately and on regularly occurring touch-bases.
  • Partners with Law Enforcement to expedite apprehension and prosecution of suspects where key information is readily available.
  • Check for compliance of all physical security devices/procedures when visiting stores.
  • If applicable, responsible for the supervision of Asset Protection Coordinator program, including recruiting, interview, training, roster, scheduling, and budgeted hours in assigned area.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS




  • College degree or equivalent
  • Security/Loss Prevention experience (3-5 years)
  • Investigations/ORC experience (1-2 years)
  • Ability to provide direction, motivate, and train associates.
  • Knowledge of Store Retail Operations
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong knowledge of Physical Security Equipment (alarms, CCTV, EAS)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Resourceful and results driven.
  • Strong computer skills, including ability to navigate social media platforms.
  • Flexible to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Range: 60,405.80-79,685.42

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
