Position Title: Operator
Wage: $21.46 per hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 2:00pm-10:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for an Operator position at a company in Belleville, WI. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Responsible for expediting materials and parts inventory movement - Set up die sets, line plates, or line bars with necessary punch, notch detail units and install the corresponding sheet metal operations Operate saws, shears, press brakes, computer terminal - Operating forklift when needed (once trained and certified by Federal Industries). - Hand forms metal as necessary. - Communicate with department lead worker or Supervisor to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors or lead worker of material status. Operator Requirements: - Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Internet Explorer, Access, Avante. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Mechanical aptitude, lean manufacturing experience. - Constant standing, bending, stooping, and walking required. - Ability to use hand tools, work on ladders. - Solo lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, Team lift 51-100 lbs. frequently, Team lift more than 100 lbs. occasionally. - Push/pull wheeled cars up to 400 lbs. - Work in an area of plant that is warmer than other areas. monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
