Requisition ID req33130 Working Title Communication & Outreach Spec Position Grade 12 Position Summary The UNM Division of Human Resources is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual to join our team as a Communications and Outreach Specialist. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to internal and external communications that support HR's mission to deliver exceptional service and resources to make employees' lives better every day. As a key member of the HR team, the selected candidate will work independently under the guidance of HR leadership to plan, develop, and execute a wide range of communications. This position is ideal for a creative, collaborative communicator with excellent writing and design skills, and a strong sense of initiative. Key responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal), have strong organizational and prioritization skills and will work closely with other members of the team to professionally represent HR to internal and external constituencies. Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
