GENERAL FUNCTION: Provide effective procedure, regulatory, report and system integration management, compliance risk management and strategic planning. Ensure Service Level Agreement performance for customer service, key document requests, compliance audits, investor sale timetables and certification of loans that are responsible for generating profit premium each month for the bank. Responsible for all investor relationships regarding custody of sold collateral. Manage the return of master mortgage and acquisition documents for mortgage products. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors the workflow of a group of non-exempt employees within an assigned functional area, maintaining optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness while ensuring that production standards are met and maintained for the Consumer Mortgage Vault. Ensures deadlines are met in accordance with customer, vendor and investor guidelines. Ensures that residential mortgage loan sale accounts are certified and processed in accordance with Investor compliance guidelines and deadlines. Ensure production standards that are set for the Consumer/Mortgage Vault staff are maintained and within departmental goals. Works with various investors, custodians, attorneys and other customers to resolve various loan collateral exception issues to minimize financial risk to the Bank. Responsible for the coordination and organization of all investor visits and audits. Assuring all audit requirements are met internally and externally as satisfactory. Maintain all investor relationships along with those of the line of business supported by the Custodial Vault Group. Project manager on high level projects that effect the Lines of business as well as multiple internal departments. Work to improve the flow of key documents used in foreclosure proceedings with the Collections area. Continuously benchmarks with other organizations and implements process improvements that increase revenue, decrease expenses, reduce FTE or improve efficiencies. Effectively manages the headcount of the department to the needs of the business, including turn over ratios and overtime expense. Ensures that the area is sufficiently staffed & that the staff is adequately trained. Complete monthly internal Quality Control on custodial vault specialist I & II. Maintain specific Ginnie Mae reports (Final Tracking, Master List and Issuer Custodial Register). Monitors all Investor vault guideline changes and insures the changes are implemented as part of the vault procedures. Responsible for the certification and communication of all investor sales activity. Follows the guidelines, requirements and policies of the Bank, including FDIC, Self-Assessment and Risk Management. Maintains daily, weekly and monthly reporting of departmental activity, including production, quality, staffing models, Loan Level Compliance report and Self Assessments. Manages the budget and reviews/addresses any variances that impact the overall budget. Review bi-weekly attendance report for accuracy indesignated system. Mentoring

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree preferred or the equivalent work experience Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience. Banking operations experience in mortgage loans. Custodial experience preferred. Image system and process operation experience a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, as the candidate will be responsible for communicating with all levels of management with the organization and external customers. Proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Access is a plus. The successful candidate possesses the ability to create Excel spreadsheets (including formulas, graphs, filters, etc.) and accuratelyanalyzethe data. Leadership skills, initiative, detail orientation, strong analytical skills and decisive decision-making skills. Ability to work in a team environment, presenting professional image and commanding the respect of staff, peers and senior management. Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize assignments and projects in a fast paced work environment.
