*Description*
The Desktop Support team specializes in administration, support, installation, specifications, and maintenance of end-user hardware and software systems. The team must exercise constant discretion and independent judgment in the pursuit of supporting, analyzing, and evaluating end-user hardware and software systems. Responsible for meeting the Service Level Agreements for the Desktop Support incident and request queues. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Triage the queue for tier two support of the end user incidents and request. *Provide customers with a quick resolution and high levels of satisfaction, including achieving internal SLA's. * Support and follow problem resolution knowledge base. * Provides backup support from Help Desk Technician's when needed. * Assist users with more difficult and time-consuming problems on various types of technology hardware, network, computer system procedures, computer software, and telecommunications equipment. * Coordinate and communicate with hiring managers on the status of the install of new hire desktop hardware and software. * Suggest improvements on policies and procedures or hardware and software changes to reduce end user problems and improve the employee experience. End User Software and Hardware Support * Utilize the technology, toolsets and workflows for deploying desktop computer systems, applications, and other settings. * Install desktop computer hardware, software, telecommunications, and peripherals for new hires and employee transfers. * Use Microsoft tools to support and manage end user desktop/laptop and applications. * Initiate and participate in desktop troubleshooting tasks such as, but not limited to; desktop hardware, application, printer, and peripheral devices. Desktop Support Analyst * Support the life cycle management process for hardware and software applications (build, maintain, retire, dispose). End User Software and Hardware Management * Follow and support the formal IT and Helpdesk policies, procedures, and standards. * Maintain and follow company approved security policies. * Provide support and services for projects associated with end user desktop and software services. (i.e. OS/Software upgrades, new products, office moves, etc.). * Follow incoming and outgoing asset inventory procedures for hardware, software, and peripherals deployments. * Adhere to policies and procedures for software license deployments and compliance. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
