Description Our client* is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Services Technician to join our team for the annual laptop and desktop refresh project. The successful candidate will be based at the Oshkosh hospital and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, as you will be interacting with nurses and doctors in a hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform laptop and desktop refresh tasks, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Provide on-site technical support to hospital staff, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflow. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory and service requests. Collaborate with IT team members to resolve technical issues promptly. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures. Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar field services or technical support role. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with medical staff. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently. Familiarity with hospital IT environments is a plus. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Working Conditions: Must be able to lift and move computer equipment as required. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document processes and explain technical issues clearly. Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with other IT team members and hospital staff. Technical Certifications: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are advantageous. Basic Networking Knowledge: Understanding of network configurations and troubleshooting. Security Awareness: Knowledge of basic cybersecurity practices to ensure the safety of hospital data. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
