Roles and Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer service calls, create corresponding work orders, and forward them to the service dispatcher for assignment
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of service customers and their specific needs
  • Maintain accurate records of customer memberships and coordinate the scheduling of annual maintenance services
  • Register equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty requirements and to maintain warranty coverage
  • Review time tickets daily to ensure the timely completion of tasks and identify any outstanding work
  • Assist in the preparation of time tickets for billing purposes, including adhering to special customer procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of blanket contracts and understand the scope of services covered under each agreement
  • Order necessary parts, track their arrival, and verify the accuracy of purchase order numbers on packing slips
  • Possess knowledge of vendor and customer warranties and manage the paperwork for parts returns
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to ensure smooth service operations


Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor


Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service role or a similar field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and resolve issues effectively
  • Proficient in the use of office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and basic office equipment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic


Preferred Requirements

  • Post-secondary education or relevant certification


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit up to eight (8) hours per working day
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, use hands and fingers to grasp and handle objects
