Description

Location: Westborough, MA - Spectrum's Corporate Administrative Office. No remote work.

Schedule: 24-40 hours available within the parameters of Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm.

Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00/hour

TheHuman Resources Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Chief Human Resources Officer regarding correspondence, presentations, files, and preparation of meetings. The Human Resources Assistant will provide oversight and maintenance of confidential personnel records, special projects, administrative functions and support to the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Assistant is also responsible for representing the organization while promoting a positive image of Spectrum's services in the communities and environments in which Spectrum operates.

Essential duties and responsibilities:



  • Responsible for managing employment records.
  • Assists in maintaining records of insurance coverage, retirement plan and personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews and terminations.
  • Responsible for company-wide audits of personnel records.
  • Responsible for employment verifications.
  • Filing HR paperwork
  • Running and maintaining reports via Spectrum's HRIS System (Paycom) and MS Excel.
  • Functions as a liaison between Corporate Human Resources and all Spectrum sites.

Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED required
  • 2-3 years' experience as administrative assistant with some human resources functionality
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office products - with proven experience using Excel
  • Must be knowledgeable in administrative duties and use of equipment related to administrative functions
