Location: Westborough, MA - Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) Program

Pay rates: $35.00/hour (LPN), $36.00-$40.00/hour (RN)

Schedule: 2nd Shift. 40 hours per week and weekends are required

TheInpatient Nurseis also responsible for:



  • Conducting admission assessments, including vital signs, client medical history, mental status, bio-psychosocial needs, and withdrawal symptoms.
  • Providing additional nursing care when required (vital signs, assessments, first-aid, etc.)
  • Applying nursing theory and participates in the development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of nursing care plans.
  • Educating clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medications as needed.
  • Acute Treatment Services
  • Clinical Stabilization Services


Qualifications

Qualifications:



  • Must have a valid MA Registered Nurse (RN) License or be a MA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
  • Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
  • Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
