Starting Salary Range: $110,000-130,000- position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. As ourMarket DesignEngineer or Economist,you will be on a team which is responsible for engineering, analytical, and studies on overall power market and operation performance, efficiency, behaviors, and the impact of market rules. You will also investigate and make improvements to market models and algorithms. Additionally, as ourMarket DesignEngineer or Economist, you will be part of a great team that will propose, design, develop, and evaluate new wholesale electricity market design initiatives and impact to market structure due to industry evolvement. Bachelors of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (required)
Bachelors of Electrical & Computer Engineering (required) Bachelors of Electrical Engineering Technology (required) Bachelors of Computer Engineering (required) Bachelors of Electrical Engineering (required) Bachelors of Mathematics (required) Bachelors of Economics (required) Experience
Experience in a deregulated wholesale electricity market or utility experiencewithin any of the following: power system analysis & operation and associated software development, statistical and econometrics analysis, market analysis and design, optimization algorithms, econometrics would be preferred. (preferred)
