  • Full time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, weekends as needed for specific projects
  • Required Travel: Intermittent travel to various Endeavor Health sites will be required based on specific projects

Job Summary:

The Program Manager, Supply Chain Process Improvement plays a key role in leading efforts to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the performance of supply chain processes. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating improvement initiatives across multiple functions of the supply chain to support the seamless and cost-effective delivery of essential medical supplies and equipment to healthcare facilities. This role involves identifying opportunities, aligning cross-functional teams, and implementing sustainable solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Lead comprehensive assessments of end-to-end supply chain processes-including procurement, inventory management, distribution, and logistics. Oversee efforts to identify inefficiencies and streamline workflows to improve resource utilization. Use process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio to visualize current and future-state processes.
  • Data Collection: Identify trends, variation, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven methodologies to gather and analyze performance metrics, such as inventory turnover rates, order fulfillment times, and supply chain costs. Develop actionable insights to drive process improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Facilitate and lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives in collaboration with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and clinical teams. Drive workshops, root cause analysis, and solutioning sessions to identify, design, and implement innovative process enhancements.
  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend technological solutions, such as supply chain management software, inventory tracking systems, and predictive analytics tools, to automate processes, enhance visibility, and optimize inventory levels. Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish performance benchmarks and KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of process improvements. Develop regular reports and dashboards to track key metrics and provide insights to stakeholders. Identify opportunities for further optimization and refinement.
  • Project and Change Management: Organize and facilitate change management efforts by providing training, guidance, and support to stakeholders impacted by process improvements.
  • Communication: Effectively involve departments to ensure buy-in and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Stay on top of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in healthcare supply chain management. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as FDA guidelines for medical device distribution, and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions or shortages.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, business administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred
  • Certification: Process improvement certifications include Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S preferred
  • Experience: 5+ years of healthcare supply chain experience required

    • Empathy: Understands the perspectives of both patients and staff to drive improvements that benefit all

Physical Demands: Light work (exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and or a small amount of force constantly to move objects)
