Summary/Objective:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting with print and digital design projects, ensuring the development and production of high-quality design materials. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to translate ideas visually, verbally, and in writing. The ideal candidate must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to corporate brand guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve assigned Graphic Design from conceptualization to production.
  • Perform a wide variety of graphic design and production tasks for print media, point-of-sale, packaging, instructional graphics, presentations, catalogs, tradeshow graphics, packaging, labels, marketing collateral, sell sheets, customer-specific requests and digital media.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of uniform graphic standards and visual brand guidelines, ensuring adherence across all materials.
  • Support marketing initiatives by designing digital assets for web, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Responsible for sharing concepts and developing new ideas that align with specific marketing objectives.
  • Perform photo editing, retouching, color correction, and color management as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects based on input from stakeholders and internal departments, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Act as a primary contact for troubleshooting print production and vendor-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including photo, video and sales, to ensure design consistency across all communication channels.
  • Review documents for adherence to brand guidelines, visual clarity, and overall design consistency.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging design technologies, and software advancements to enhance creative output.
  • Act as backup for team members when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Qualifications:

  1. Work Experience: 1-4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in marketing, branding, or advertising.
  2. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Multi-Media Design, or a related field.
  3. Computer Skills: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams. Experience in digital design, motion graphics or UX/UI is a plus.
  4. Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  5. Cross-functional Skills: Ability to communicate effectively across all functional areas, both visually and verbally.
  6. Communication Skills: Works well in a collaborative environment, fostering teamwork and innovation. Promotes a high level of cooperation, communication and coordination between the supervisors and associates of all departments, while demonstrating a positive attitude and consideration towards fellow associates and other ideas

Supervisory Responsibility: This role does not have supervisory experience upon hiring.

Physical Demands:

Ability to read, write, type and sit for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day; ability to analyze and solve complex problems; possess a high degree of attention to detail; some travel may be required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time, salaried position working 40-45 hours a week.

Travel:

Travel will be 5-10% of the role.

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
