Manager-Central Sterile Supply

Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Manager -will be responsible for all activities related to instrument decontamination, assembly and sterilization for the operative theaters, procedural areas, emergency department, critical care and other nursing units in University Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and Ross Heart Hospital. The Manager acts as the primary contact for Sterile Processing contact for Compliance amp; Accreditation and external regulatory departments, i.e., The Joint Commission and Ohio Department of Health. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in a health related field required. Current Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, formerly International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management, or Certification Board for Sterile Processing Certification. 5 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
