Security Professional - Access Patrol

As a Security Professional - Access Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. This post may require an armed guard license. Adaptability and reliability are key as you support a culture of care and innovation in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and monitor for unusual activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas within the food and beverage production environment.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel to address access control concerns and support a secure environment for staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Florida Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
