Department Global Finance (GLFIN) - Pact strives for a world where all people are heard, capable, and vibrant. The Global Finance department helps realize this objective by: *Ensuring accurate timely country office financial data capture and reporting *Timely, accurate submission of funder financial reports and invoices *Helping to mitigate financial risk by building country office finance staff capacity, assisting in audits and improving country office financial processes Position Overview Under general direction of the CFO, the Controller leads Pact's day-to-day finance operations, directly supervises 4 finance and accounting professionals in Washington, DC, and works with Finance and Accounting staff at locations worldwide to ensure the highest quality compliance with U.S. Government (USG) rules and regulations, Pact global accounting policies and standards, and donor requirements. The Controller is responsible for global accounting, financial policies and procedures, accounts payable and receivable, external reporting, audit, and global treasury. The Controller provides exceptional leadership and hands-on technical mentorship to a team of accounting and finance professionals. This includes directing and coordinating the work of the global finance and general accounting teams (payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, investments, debt, intercompany accounting, and cash management). They ensure that finance operates with the utmost integrity, financial acumen, and team orientation to enable Pact to implement its mission. Key Responsibilities

The salary for this position is determined based on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to an individuals skill sets, experience, training, certifications, education, as well as business needs and internal equity. At Pact, employees are typically not hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are made based on the aforementioned circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000-200,000 |
