This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. This is a developmental assignment designed to build the capability to manage an account generally of 18-24 months in duration. POSITION OVERVIEW:
- Develops actionable insights based upon analyses conducted.
- Leads Category Development for a portion of a large/strategic account.
- Achieves annual sales, trade spend, and 4P objectives for assigned customer and categories.
- Owns responsibility for the Customer Category Business Plan for one or more categories at assigned customer and participates in the customer business planning process. Optimizes customer contribution for selected categories.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Selling - Customer Presentations
- Develop/customize category plan based selling stories regarding assortment, new items, pricing, promotions, display/merchandising tactics and plans
- Develop customized presentations based upon analyses
- Present plans, recommendations, initiatives to customer to gain approval
Insight Development
- Identify insights and specific opportunities based on analysis of category data
- Provide recommendations to the account team based on analysis and interpretation of sales data
- Assist in development of shopper and store clusters to enhance selling opportunities
- Communicate actionable conclusions based on the results of analyses to customers
- Create Ad-hoc reports designed to interpret results of analyses conducted.
Category Business Planning and Execution
- Participate in the development of Customer Category Business Plan(s) with customer(s).
- Frequently interact with customer personnel to drive the execution of the customer category plan
- Achieve 4P objectives (promotion, new item, merchandising, etc) and goals through the activation of customer category plans
- Track plan progress and conducts periodic reviews with customer and Nestle partners and make adjustments as necessary
Communication & Coordination
- Responsible for timely and effective communication of customer/category and forecast information
- Collaborate with other account managers to activate scale events
- Actively ensure effective communication with AOC/APC, Logistics, etc.
Commercial Spend Management
- Effectively manage commercial spend to achieve sales volume goals and trade spend goals, including administration, record keeping, tracking and follow-up
- Collaborate with Sales Finance Manager on financial reconciliation on a monthly basis
Other
- Manage the numerous administrative duties required for this role, examples include, but not limited to:
- Participating in ad-hoc project requests

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Travel Requirements - National Local responsibility, Minimal travel.
EXPERIENCE:
- Have good working knowledge of Nestle as well as channel of trade customer base in Grocery, Mass and New Business.
SKILLS: GENERAL:
