Job Summary |
- Manage Volunteer reporting
- Monitor vol. reporting database and report to supervisor when inconsistencies are seen
- Communications with Regional Agents for consistency in vol. management and outreach
- Assist revision of Extension publications
- Facilitate review and renewal processes
- Administrative support for statewide Volunteer program management:
- Mailing or delivering program materials
- Ordering program materials for events and workshops.
- Coordinate survey tools used by volunteers
- Manage student questions and facilitate operations of Canvas course
- Coordinate communications between teachers and students as needed
- Coordinate communications with IT when technical issues arise
- Monitor overall functioning of Canvas course, July 31 - Nov. 6
- [Preferred knowledge - Sufficiently understand the course content to assist with student questions - general knowledge of plant science and/or horticulture]
- Write social media posts
- Facilitate completion of final logistics for EMG Intern graduation (~200 attendees)

Minimum Qualifications |
Strong proficiency in computer applications and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly |
Desired Qualifications |
Knowledge of Canvas
Practical knowledge of Horticulture or Plant Science |
