Summary of Role:

The Employee Experience (EX) Generalist partners closely with Employee Experience (EX) colleagues and is an integral part of the EX Business Partner and Employee Relations team. In this role, you will partner and provide support to the VP of Culture and Employee Experience as well as the EX Business Partners and Employee Relations Manager. In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR support to Broadview's employees, proactively identify and resolve employee matters, and promote a positive organizational culture. This position will be located on-site at our Headquarters with potential to work a hybrid arrangement.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the EX Business Partner and Employee Relations team on various administrative duties.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to ensure that people-related initiatives support the overall objectives of the organization.

  • Leverage HR analytics to identify trends, and areas of opportunity, and develop actionable plans.

  • Build strong relationships with Employee Experience (EX) colleagues as well as employees and front-line leaders.

  • Provide guidance and support on HR-related matters to ensure effective leadership and team performance.

  • In partnership with the EXBP and ER Manager, provide expert advice and support to managers and employees on various employee issues including mediating and resolving employee conflicts and performance issues fairly and effectively.

  • Collaborate with Talent Development to implement training programs that address skill gaps and promote career advancement.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and Broadview policies and procedures.

  • Track performance management initiatives to ensure compliance with the annual process and deadlines. Conduct exit and stay interviews, when appropriate, providing detailed reports to the team.

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on recruitment efforts for assigned departments and participate in candidate interviews.

  • Partner with Employee Relations by conducting investigation in-take sessions and making recommendations.

  • Maintain an ongoing knowledge of legislation impacting HR activities; identifies compliance gaps within HR functionality and recommends remedial actions as appropriate.

  • Participate on special projects and assignments based on business needs.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related area, orequivalent combination of education and work experience.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in HR.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the organization.

  • Strong coaching and mediation skills, and experience coaching both staff and managers.

  • The ability to earn trust to influence and inspire behavior toward a collaborative outcome; develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.

  • Experience with public speaking, including delivering presentations and training required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint as well as HR Technology products (HRIS, ATS, databases, payroll solutions) required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple partners to positively affect outcomes at the team, organization, and employee level.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.Exceptional communication (oral, written, auditory) and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Good problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to travel to branches and corporate office locations.

Starting Compensation: $65,990-$80,838 annually, plus a competitive benefits package.
