Bachoco USAis seeking anInventory Control Associatefor theFort Smith, Complex.

Work Schedule:Monday - Friday, Saturday as needed (4:00pm - 1:00am)

Position Summary:TheInventory Control Associateis responsible for monitoring and reconciling inventory transactions, ensuring accuracy in inventory records, and supporting plant operations with data-driven insights. This role involves working closely with various departments to validate stock movements, analyze discrepancies, and assist with reporting to maintain efficient inventory management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Reconcile production records to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
  • Monitor system interfaces related to stock flow and order releases.
  • Manage label deletions, storage openings, and transfer rules.
  • Reconcile warehouse inventory between CAT and SAP systems.
  • Analyze order reports, including reconciliation of material charges, review of yields, ingredient and packaging consumption, and identification of inefficient codes.
  • Conduct floor walks to review manufacturing processes and product flow.
  • Prepare monthly closing reports, ensuring all orders are properly closed with no pending charges and reconciling live poultry inventory.
  • Reconcile inventory with other plants and monitor returns.
  • Validate shipments and outbound inventory transactions.
  • Monitor and verify physical inventory readings.
  • This is a safety sensitive position.



Requirements:



  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

This role is primarily office-based within a processing plant environment. The employee may occasionally be required to enter production areas, where exposure to cold, humidity, and loud noise is possible. Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when accessing production areas. Standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers, will be used regular.
