Nestle USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst Advanced Analytics Optimization in Arlington, VA Duties: Responsible for developing models, optimization tools and reports and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Advanced Analytics Optimization team. Responsible for researching, developing, and implementing quantitative models to improve operating efficiency, reduce cost and increase revenue. Perform data analysis and generate reports to address business needs under the mentorship of a senior member of the team. Analyze the physical manufacturing and distribution network to ascertain whether it is functioning according to the needs and objectives of the company. Participate in the selection of sites for plants, distribution centers, pool points and cross docks. Participate in the determination of warehouse size, product flow, and the facility locations. Assist in evaluation and monitoring of supply chain plans, manufacturing, transportation and distribution costs. Work collaboratively to develop math models to solve supply chain business problems under the supervision of an Advanced Analytics Optimization Lead or Principal. Develop predictive models, dashboards and tools for use both within the department and across the company that promote continues improvement within the Supply Chain. Analyze model outputs and reports for accuracy, timeliness, and pertinence. Summarize data for use in commentaries to divisions, subsidiaries, branches and departments. Telework is available up to twice a week. Requirements: Job requires a Master's degree or the foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related engineering and science field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or in Supply Chain Modeling.
