FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 10am - 8pm. Monthly on-call rotation with other supervisors.

The incumbent will attend meetings, provide monthly rounding and supervision to direct reports, manage Annual Performance Evaluations and provide direct coaching to Crisis staff.

Position Summary

The Supervisor of Behavioral Health Crisis Intervention provides crisis intervention and evaluation services following established policies and procedures to meet the unique needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patients and their families. The Supervisor works collaboratively with Manager Crisis Services to ensure that 24/7 crisis services, are staffed appropriately and day to day operations run smoothly. The Supervisor oversees services provided at the mental health center, community, emergency rooms, schools, client's residence and other locations as requested.

Requirements


  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field or a Registered Nurse with BA or above education required
  • Three (3) years of experience performing direct crisis services
  • Certified as a Designated Mental Health Professional or higher license
  • Ability to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration upon hire
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist is preferred
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role or demonstrated leadership skills
  • Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $100,547.00 - $144,685.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
