Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced professional who wants to join our US Navy RTN DDG Support Team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need an expierienced Combat Systems Test Coordinator ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.



Responsibilities

    Assist in the planning and coordination of Combat system equipment installations
  • Assist in the execution and tracking of Combat System Stage Tests
  • Validate an extensive range of US Navy Combat Systems and associated equipment in the combat suite
  • Able to perform hands on testing in one or more areas of Combat Systems: ICOMMS, EXCOMMS, Crypto, SPY radars, VLS, CEC, SLQ-32, TLAM


Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred
  • Must possess at least 10 years of testing experience
  • Must have at least 3 years of hands-on testing experience with multiple areas of Combat

Systems to include:

  • Background in Combat System concept of operations
  • Cable testing
  • Electromagnetic Interference testing
  • Product Configuration Identification testing
  • Interior Communications equipment and systems, radar systems
  • General Navigation Aids, electronic, mechanical, and electrical primary and support equipment testing
  • Communications equipment testing
  • Cryptographic systems testing
  • Analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements
  • Experience with testing in an AGILE environment
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements
