We currently have an immediate opening for a Milieu Manager to lead operational performance and staff supervision at our Receiving Center, serving individuals in mental health or substance use crisis. The Hamilton County CRC is a unique and innovative model designed to provide an alternative to emergency rooms or incarceration for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This exciting project is a partnership with local law enforcement, aimed at providing rapid intervention and quality care for individuals facing behavioral health crises. Why Work at GCBHS? Industry Leader in behavioral health treatment for adults, children, and families Top Workplace recipient every year since 2010 Generous Paid Time Off and Sick Time Flexible work schedules to support work-life balance Public Student Loan Forgiveness eligible employer Comprehensive health insurance coverage 403(b) Retirement Plan with employer match Tuition Assistance: $1,250 per semester for BSW students $2,500 per semester or quarter for MSW or MA-Counseling students Internship and Practicum Opportunities for MSW and MA-Counseling students Professional Development and Free CEUs Position Responsibilities: Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians, providing daily oversight and support Lead hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for clients and staff Conduct team meetings, lead in-service training, and represent the program in the community as needed Oversee safety protocols, emergency drills, and regulatory compliance tasks Ensure services are trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally responsive Maintain accurate records and assist with audits, compliance checks, and data collection Be available on-call 24/7 for site emergencies related to operations or safety Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field preferred At least two years' experience in a behavioral health setting Skilled in crisis de-escalation and crisis management Prior leadership or administrative experience preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Core Competencies Team Leadership & Staff Development Crisis & Safety Management Operational Efficiency & Compliance Trauma-Informed and Culturally Competent Practice Communication, Policy Implementation, and Collaboration GCBHS has proudly been named a Top Workplace in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky every year since 2010.
