Short Description

The TDS position will focus on generating reports specific to the strategic interests of the Cooper Innovation Center and Cooper University Health.

Specifically, the position will research the needs of Cooper employees for both start-up incubation and commercial partnership space and programming.

Additional focus will be paid to various funding opportunities available to realize the creation of these spaces and programming.

In addition to creation of reports regarding these future facilities and programs the TDS will focus on assessing technical, commercial, and IP aspects of Cooper technologies, thereby directly supporting the development of commercialization strategies for Cooper technologies.

Such work will focus in four main areas: Invention Assessment, Marketing Assessment, Technology Marketing Summary and Special Projects.

There is no patient interaction in this role - will need to communicate professionally using AIDET to potential funders as well as non-profit and corporate partners for the Cooper Innovation Center.

Assessment of the technology innovation opportunities and needs at Cooper and reporting these to the Director

Explain the goals of the Cooper Innovation Center to Cooper colleagues and external stakeholders

Apply design thinking to business challenges faced by Cooper Innovation Center

Work with the Director of the Cooper Innovation Center to form partnerships which further the Centers goals


Experience Required

0 - 2 years preferably in STEM


Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required - STEM background


Special Requirements

Communication - Ability to communicate with stakeholders in the health technology innovation process
