Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is$131,200.00 to$218,700.00.

Lake Forest, IL (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite/week)

We're looking for a strategic athlete - someone who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and is energized by high-impact work. As Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy, you won't just contribute to critical strategy initiatives - you'll lead them. This is a team leadership role, responsible for guiding a small, high-performing team while also staying hands-on in the work.
You'll be expected to drive strategy projects across the business, own competitive intelligence, and synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations for our most senior leaders. You'll work across corporate, business unit, and functional teams, translating complexity into clarity and enabling bold, data-driven decisions. Bonus points if you bring corporate development experience such as M&A analysis, corporate venture capital, or due diligence.

You Will
* Lead and coach a team of 2+ strategists and analysts, setting a high bar for analytical rigor, storytelling, and execution
* Drive cross-functional strategy initiatives that shape the direction of the company across corporate and business unit levels
* Own our competitive intelligence engine - develop a perspective on market trends, competitor moves, and macro shifts; translate those into strategy recommendations
* Frame and lead strategic problem-solving efforts - structure ambiguous problems, design workstreams, and generate executive-ready outputs
* Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, bringing a confident point of view and strong communication skills
* Support Corporate Development on investment theses, due diligence, and execution support for strategic opportunities
* Support internal and external executive communications with crisp, insight-rich storytelling
* Contribute to the creation and evolution of our corporate strategy roadmap

You Have
* Bachelor's degree required; Master's or MBA preferred
* 2+ years of strategy consulting experience with team leadership responsibilities, or 4+ years of strategy experience at a Fortune 500 company with direct people management experience
* Track record of leading complex, high-stakes projects in fast-paced environments
* Strong capability in competitive analysis, strategic synthesis, and executive-level storytelling
* Advanced analytical and financial skills; Excel proficiency required, financial modeling experience a plus
* Strong PowerPoint/visual communication skills - able to distill complex ideas into compelling executive narratives
* Experience in corporate development, M&A, or corporate venture capital
* Industry experience in distribution, industrials, or similar sectors a plus
