The Jackson Laboratory is seeking a Research Assistant I/II to support the laboratory of Principal Investigator Dr. Beth Dumont in the Dumont Lab. The successful applicant will work on an NIH-funded project to develop and characterize a novel outbred mouse population founded from wild-derived mice. The range of required duties includes, but is not limited to: overseeing colony management and breeding, colony record keeping, tissue sample collection, and animal phenotyping. The successful applicant must demonstrate outstanding organizational and communication skills, model effective mental concentration, visual attention and manipulative skills, and work effectively in a team environment. Education Required: High School Diploma or GED Pay Range: $18.59 - $29.51 per hour, based on experience.
