Overview

This is a hybrid role (if located in Morristown, NJ or Atlanta, GA) with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. Two days a week in office. Open to remote in several markets for highly qualified candidate.

The Quantitative Analyst I of C&I Model Development will focus on developing and implementing credit risk models for commercial lending portfolios. This position provides support and expertise through research, developing, data gathering for model development. Creates improvements to current processes and procedures and ensures compliance with relevant rules and regulation.


Responsibilities

  • Development, validation, and implementation of credit risk models across commercial lending products including C&I (Commercial and Industrial) and Equipment Finance.
  • Perform data analysis and cleaning tasks to support model development.
  • Monitor model performance and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the generation of reports for CCAR and CECL requirements.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory guidance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in financial, statistical, or quantitative analysis experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in financial, statistical, or quantitative analysis experience

License or Certification Type: null null

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related quantitative field
  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in credit risk model development.
  • Hands on experience using Python, SAS, Tableau.
  • Hands on experience in model development
  • Expert knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and risk analytics methodologies
