Hourly Pay Range:

$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Diagnostic Imaging Assistant

  • Location: 24600 W 127th Street, Plainfield

  • Per Diem/PRN

  • Hours: As Needed

What you will do:

Under general supervision Radiology Support Supervisor and the Lead technologists, and according to established policies and procedures, provides assistance to patients, their significant others, technologists, physicians and other hospital personnel as assigned or needed in a professional and courteous manner. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job. Explains procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

  • Education: A High School diploma or GED and strong computer proficiency required.

  • Certification: CPR certification required within 30 days of hire date.

  • Experience: One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting, especially in direct patient care roles, preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy with keyboarding skills of 35-40 wpm preferred.Excellent telephone etiquette required.Previous Windows experience is required.

  • Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience with healthcare information systems, including PACS, is preferred.
