Job Description

Assists in the system-wide vendor management process, including onboarding operations, vendor due diligence, and maintenance of vendor data. Aids in the development and implementation of internal controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization's overall supplier and third party risk.

Job Responsibility

1.Assists in analyzing, tracking, and reporting on vendor management requests, for both vendor additions and modifications.
2.Performs vendor screening, in addition to further vetting of new vendors and confirmation of data at time of onboarding.
3.Inputs, tracks, and maintains changes within vendor database and service desk.
4.Investigates, documents, and escalates any adverse findings identified during onboarding.
5.Communicates with and provides support to internal stakeholders regarding vendor operations department policy.
6.Supports category management and clinical contracting teams as needed.
7.Researches vendor risk management and supply chain best practices in the healthcare industry.
8.Works collaboratively and professionally in a team environment while interfacing daily with both internal and external parties.
9.Operates with direct guidance and work assignments are generally straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Job Qualification

1.Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
2.0-1 years of relevant experience, required.
