The role supports SITA commercial teams in achieving business objectives while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction through consistent quality of service. Additionally, the role maintains financial health by conducting analysis, reporting, and implementing cost optimization initiatives. Bid Support *Drive the proposal of SITA support solutions (support model, SLA, etc.) to ensure consistent and long-term quality of service and customer satisfaction. *Engage with clients for non-standard operational requirements to understand needs and provide tailored proposals in collaboration with Service Support Architects. *Clearly identify and document risks and assumptions related to the identified support solution. *Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate cost estimates and define contract schedules, including SLAs and support models. Actively support the negotiation of contractual terms with customers. *Contribute to the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements, adhere to deadlines, and comply with legal and organizational standards. *Track and analyze bid performance, conduct post-bid reviews, and maintain the bid support knowledge management database for continuous improvement. Financial Management *Analyze financial data and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights and recommendations. *Prepare financial reports and collaborate with stakeholders to align on risks, mitigation strategies, and business objectives. Data Steward *Monitor data quality, consistency, and compliance on an ongoing basis. *Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for data in their area, answering queries and guiding usage. Team Leader (supervision of activities) *Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. *Align objectives and resources with the responsible people manager. *Assign tasks based on individual strengths and workloads. *Coach team-members. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Qualifications ABOUT YOUR SKILLS *2-4 years of experience in customer success, or technical support roles, preferably in SaaS, IT, or service-based industries. *5-6+ years of experience in proposal management, or bid management, particularly in industries involving complex or tailored support solutions. *Demonstrated experience in preparing client proposals, conducting market research, and collaborating across teams to develop support solutions. *3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, or strategic planning. *Proven ability to build and manage budgets, analyze trends, and deliver actionable financial insights. *3-5 years of experience in leadership or supervisory roles, with a focus on team development and resource planning. *Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder communication. Education *A bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. *Equivalent work experience may substitute for formal education depending on the industry. Certifications (Optional/Preferred): *Project Management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2. *Financial certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA). *ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification minimum at Foundation level. Synopsis of Role: Pre-sales account manager/Operational Bid Support who is able to navigate the complexities of SITA sales operations. SITA has a commercial team that has an intake of requests for service. This person will be responsible for managing the request and determining what solution is best to offer the customer. The employee will be navigating the intake, manage the internal approval process with management and then work on the proposal, contract process and negotiation. Looking for individuals with a strong understanding of complex operations, SITA's offerings and be able to navigate and get buy in from internal leadership before moving to next step *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
