What You'll Do:

As the Landscape Construction Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the overall financial performance, scheduling, and execution of commercial landscape construction projects. You'll work closely with the sales team, superintendents, and office staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Project Leadership:

  • Take full ownership of project financials, ensuring profitability and efficient cost management.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables.
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, material requests, and project documentation.
  • Lead project kick-offs and close-outs, ensuring a seamless process.

Team & Client Management:

  • Act as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Negotiate subcontractor contracts and handle client change orders.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Project Engineers and field staff.
  • Attend job site visits and participate in walk-throughs with clients and stakeholders.

Financial Oversight:

  • Accurately forecast material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
  • Manage revenue projections and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to manage material buyouts at or below budget.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial landscape construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, financials, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and construction software (On-Screen Takeoff is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with internal teams and clients.
  • Experience with irrigation systems, hardscape, erosion control, and California plant identification is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not required.
