JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking two highly motivated undergraduate research assistants with strong interdisciplinary interests in data science and artificial intelligence. Ideal candidates should have foundational experience in programming (e.g., Python), data analysis, and machine learning, and a curiosity about applying computational methods to visual art. Prior research experience in this area, preferred. Selected assistants will work closely with faculty and graduate students on cutting-edge research, with opportunities for co-authorship on academic publications. Research responsibilities may include data preprocessing, literature reviews, running experiments, and contributing to prototype development or analysis pipelines. Working with Dr. James Wang approximately 7 hours during academic year and 20 hours during the summer.
