DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will function as a lead worker involving moderately complex clerical duties related to the division's main programs which include medical fee review, utilization review, and impairment rating evaluation (IRE). You will be responsible for reviewing documents and other information related to payments made by insurers or self-insured employers for medical treatment and reviewing the medical treatment provided to employees with work-related injuries and illness. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be networking with a wide-range of customers and stakeholders such as other divisions in the bureau, healthcare providers, attorneys, employers, insurers, self-insured employers, and injured workers. You will manage the divisions resource accounts to ensure timely responses are provided to those who submitted inquiries. This professional also plans, directs, develops, participates, and conducts trainings for internal staff and external customers and stakeholders as necessary. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the training period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Dauphin County.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
