We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with confirmed ability in Python DBMS & SQL Unix Shell Scripting and Data Analysis. The ideal candidate will work to contribute to our data and analytics projects. This role involves designing and maintaining data solutions ensuring data integrity and providing insights to drive business decisions.

• Develop and maintain data solutions using Python ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Be responsible for the design and implementation of database solutions using DBMS & SQL to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Guide in Unix Shell Scripting to automate data processing tasks and streamline workflows.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends patterns and insights that can drive business decisions.
• Apply data analysis tools to create comprehensive reports and dashboards for partners.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing robust data validation and quality checks.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Be responsible for the development of data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting.
• Supervise and optimize data processes to improve performance and reduce latency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and data analysts.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data and analytics.
• Communicate findings and insights to partners in a clear and concise manner.
• Chip in to the continuous improvement of data practices and methodologies.

• Possess strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Demonstrate expertise in DBMS & SQL for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Have extensive experience with Unix Shell Scripting for automating data tasks.
• Show proficiency in data analysis and the use of related tools to derive insights.
• Exhibit a deep understanding of data and analytics principles and standard processes.
• Have a proven record of working as a Data Analyst in a hybrid work model.
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Have good interpersonal skills to optimally convey technical information to non-technical customers.
• Demonstrate the ability to work closely in a team environment.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Have experience in developing data models and schemas for analytics.

The annual salary for this position is depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
