  • Assessing spacecraft hardware compatibility with both natural and induced space environments.

  • Contributing to a wide range of additional tasks supporting NASA's evolving needs.

What You Bring to the Team:
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience (advanced degrees welcome).

  • Solid background in CAD, 3D modeling, and FEA tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Ansys, NX, Femap).

  • Strong analytical and programming skills (Fortran, Python, MATLAB, C++).

  • Familiarity with space environmental modeling and a passion for problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry.

  • 5+ years of experience in space environments or aerospace systems.

  • Knowledge of orbital environments (LEO, GEO, NRHO, HEO) and related space weather phenomena.

  • Experience with contamination modeling, radiation analysis, and plasma charging tools.

  • Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC), Linux systems, and hydrocode tools (e.g., LS Dyna).

  • Direct experience with NASA programs or other space-related projects is a major plus.
