From your PASSION to ours

The Sales Manager will serve as a key leader in the Non-Commercial segment, overseeing a portfolio of strategic partners and driving national growth initiatives. This role has evolved from a Business Development Manager into a higher-impact position with enhanced leadership, strategy, and cross-functional responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings deep sales expertise, uses independent judgment to resolve complex challenges, and influences future direction through proactive problem-solving and conceptual thinking.

As a Sales Manager, you will lead the execution of our go-to-market strategy, manage high-value partnerships, and contribute directly to long-term business planning. You'll collaborate across internal teams-including Trade, Marketing, and Culinary-to ensure brand alignment, customer satisfaction, and optimal trade investment.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

* Lead sales execution across the Non-Commercial segment, focusing on high-priority markets and strategic customer groups.

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging contracts, partnerships, and industry trends.

* Develop and present strategic plans, assessing long-term implications for sales growth, brand positioning, and customer development.

* Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize trade spend, improve compliance, and ensure consistent messaging through marketing and culinary initiatives.

* Analyze sales performance and market insights to proactively address challenges and identify new paths to growth.

* Effectively manage broker relationships, ensuring alignment of sales initiatives that can be executed independently or in tandem, depending on the strategy.

* Maintain authoritative knowledge of Lactalis Culinary's product portfolio, sales strategy, and industry best practices.

* Travel 20-40% monthly, with occasional extended hours based on business need.

* Travel is required up to 40% monthly.

* Extended hours may be necessary depending on the project needs.

Requirements

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

* Bachelor's degree is favored.

* In lieu of degree, 10+ years of relevant experience required.

Experience

* Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience, with demonstrated success in the foodservice, CPG, or Non-Commercial sector.

Certifications and specific knowledge

* Proven leadership capabilities, including the ability to coach others and influence across multiple departments.

* Strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills; able to assess ambiguous situations and make sound decisions.

* Independent and self-directed, with excellent judgment and organizational skills.

* Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or industry certifications are a plus.

* High proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales enablement tools.
