Meet the Team The UCS Team is looking for a motivated and experienced Product Lifecycle Project Manager to manage the UCS Rack Products end-to-end Supply Chain. Our team is looking for someone who can add tremendous value, work effectively with our BU and Supply Chain partners, and grow the business through product focus, cross functional influence & driving for results. This role provides the opportunity to work with marketing to understand roadmap/customer needs, with the UCS NPI team as products transition to sustaining. You'll also work with the Product Engineering teams to understand & improve product cost/quality/delivery, with the Contract Manufacturer to monitor builds/failures/opportunities for improvement, and finally, the BU team to understand roadmap & respond to customer issues. Your ImpactYou'll be expected to influence cross-functional teams in Manufacturing, Engineering, Service, and Marketing management in determining strategy and execution of technical solutions in worldwide manufacturing. You will also be partnering with GP&F, GSM and Product Ops counterparts. The PLPM may oversee some or all of the following functional areas as assigned by the MPO to ensure the product cost and quality performance metrics are met from NPI to EOL: Change Management Compliance Execution of Supply Chain changes Engineering change implementation New PID releases for product enhancements or derivatives Responsible for sustaining critical issues (i.e. line stop resolution, CAP accounts, AVL management, manufacturing process improvement) EOL Strategy and Planning development with integrated product team EOL Strategy execution Last Time Buy analysis and execution Risk management (multi-source tech assessment, component, cost variance, supply chain review over product lifecycle) Action planning for product field performance (quality) Responsible for monitoring, reporting, and managing critical product lifecycle metrics Minimum Qualifications
