As a part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, we engage a diverse audience of theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, and entertainment seekers. Responsibilities * Assist with managing F&B outlets with emphasis on responsibility over The Bar. * Manage staff; this includes hiring, training, scheduling and disciplinary action. * Revising training materials as needed, ensuring that the team is remaining consistent in standards of service. * Constantly coach associates to ensure a high level of service is consistently provided. * Support the control department costs by managing labor, production, and waste. * Monitor food quality and service standards. Provide feedback when needed. * Communicating regularly with managers of other departments to address operational needs where necessary. Desired experience & characteristics * High school diploma required, College degree preferred. * At least 3-5 years of management experience in the service industry preferred. * Intermediate knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a hotel setting. * Ability to effectively interact with guests with patience, tact, and diplomacy in order to successfully defuse emotions, collect information and resolve the situation. * Must possess strong communication and organizational skills * Must have employee relations expertise with the ability to analyze performance, address employee complaints and assist in new hire onboarding and training.
