Summary

The Senior Architecture Project Director is responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception through completion across Chobani's workplace, manufacturing, and retail environments. This role includes overseeing design development, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring project goals are met on time, within budget, and in alignment with Chobani's brand standards. The Senior Director ensures architectural, and design excellence is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership and Planning
* Lead end-to-end project planning for architectural initiatives, including new builds, renovations, and expansions.
* Define project scope, goals, success criteria, timelines, and resource needs in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

Cross-Functional Coordination
* Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments (e.g. Design, Operations, Legal, Finance, Facilities) and external partners (architects, engineers, consultants etc).
* Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all project participants and maintain alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Lead project meetings, provide regular updates to senior leadership, and ensure timely decision-making

Budget, Schedule & Execution
*Own and manage project budgets, schedules, and vendor deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget execution
* Oversee procurement process, contract management, and invoicing in partnership with internal stakeholders
* Monitor progress across all phases of project and ensure milestones and quality standards are met
* Conduct site visits to assess progress, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to architectural intent and design standards

Requirements

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Licensed Architect with a minimum of 15-20 years of relevant experience in project architecture with a focus on delivering complex, multi-phase projects
* Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, stakeholder communications, and consultant/vendor performance.
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
* Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Strong ability to synthesize design, technical, operational, and business requirements into actionable project plans.
* Experience with sustainable design and relevant certification for green building practices.

Compensation Range:$203,000.00-$304,000.00, plus bonus.
