Position Summary

As the Manager, Mobile Recruitment Strategy at Versiti, you will design, develop, and integrate donor acquisition programs and campaigns that state-level account representatives and regional managers will use to foster mobile drive success. Your work will directly influence the growth and sustainability of Versiti's mobile donor recruitment efforts, particularly within SMERF (social/community, military, education, religious, fraternal) and hospital/healthcare sectors. This role demands a high-energy, strategic, and execution-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You will spearhead initiatives that increase mobile donor acquisition, convert mobile donors to center donors, re-engage lapsed mobile donors, and optimize mobile drive performance-especially for accounts that have previously declined participation. You will drive influence across state-level donor recruitment teams with vision, creativity, and tactical expertise, ensuring that every mobile drive campaign is both compelling and results-driven. This is a strategic yet highly tactical role-perfect for a creative, data-driven marketer who knows how to design and execute multi-channel donor recruitment campaigns that drive measurable impact.

Compensation
The target salary for this position is $85,815 annually.

The target salary is based on internal averages. Versiti sets salary ranges aligned to local markets in which the job is performed. Compensation decisions take into account internal salary averages and differentiation based on education, experience, skills, and performance. Specific salary and benefits information is shared at the time of the phone screening based on your location and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Mobile Drive Strategy & Program Development

    Design and develop innovative mobile donor recruitment programs and campaigns tailored to SMERF sector organizations and hospital-based blood drives. Align mobile drive marketing strategies with state-level donor recruitment teams, ensuring optimal donor acquisition and engagement. Leverage data and insights to optimize drive performance, addressing historical trends and improving donor conversion and retention. Lead start-to-finish cross-functional teams to deliver innovative "specialty mobile drives" that involve high profile brand and community partnerships (e.g. Stage for Life arts drives, signature corporate drives, new market brand partnership drives).

Hospital-Based Mobile Drive Strategy & Growth

  • Design hospital-specific mobile drive programs that strengthen participation and sustain year-over-year donor growth. Develop marketing materials and engagement strategies that position Versiti's hospital partners as key advocates for blood donation. Collaborate with healthcare stakeholders to create customized outreach strategies that drive long-term donor loyalty.

New Drive Acquisition & Mobile-to-Center Conversion Strategies

  • Create targeted acquisition strategies that attract first-time mobile donors and drive long-term retention. Develop conversion programs that encourage mobile donors to become repeat center donors, expanding Versiti's donor base. Innovate mobile drive engagement tactics to improve donor experience and maximize participation. Lead the design, deployment, and integration of a one-of-a-kind guest (donor) experience that will differentiate Versiti mobile drives from its competitors.

Lapsed Donor & Decliner Account Engagement Strategies

  • Develop reactivation campaigns to engage lapsed donors and encourage renewed participation. Identify and implement tailored outreach strategies to win back decliner accounts, positioning Versiti as the preferred mobile drive partner. Partner with state donor recruitment teams to implement proven engagement models for declining or underperforming accounts.

Mobile-First Marketing & Multi-Channel Campaign Execution

  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns that account representatives and their mobile drive coordinators can "plug and play" to leverage digital, social, email, SMS, and traditional media to ensure drive success. Create marketing toolkits, playbooks, and promotional materials to equip account reps and drive coordinators with innovative and effective outreach assets. Leverage CRM, marketing automation, and donor engagement platforms to optimize outreach and conversion.

Cross-Functional Influence & Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic marketing partner and thought leader for state and regional donor recruitment teams. Work closely with field teams, donor marketing, digital, and community outreach, and the Recruitment Center of Excellence teams to support alignment, implementation, and execution of recruitment strategies. Partner with the Donor Recruitment Center of Excellence to ensure account representatives and mobile drive coordinators effectively implement programs and campaigns. Influence and inspire donor marketing teams with vision, energy, and tactical excellence, ensuring campaigns translate into tangible donor growth.

Performance Measurement & Optimization

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics related to mobile donor acquisition, donor retention, and drive success. Continuously optimize strategies based on data insights, donor trends, and campaign performance analytics. Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership on mobile drive marketing effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Public Health Administration, or a related field required

Experience

  • 4-6 years demonstrated experience in multi-channel marketing campaign development and execution required
  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing, communications, donor recruitment, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in blood collections industry preferred
  • 1-3 years experience working in nonprofit, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to design, develop, and execute donor acquisition programs with measurable impact required
  • Knows how to develop compelling campaigns that are both innovative and performance-driven required
  • Strong proficiency in digital, social, email, and mobile marketing tools and platforms required
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and drive engagement without direct authority required
  • A results-oriented, hands-on marketer who thrives in both big-picture strategy and day-to-day execution required
  • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and donor engagement tools required
