Position Description and Purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated staff level Finance Systems Analyst to join our team. This role will have a high impact in supporting our Finance Technology roadmap by owning OneStream administration, executing month-end accounting tasks which include reporting and analysis and supporting other miscellaneous Finance technology systems. OneStream is Roskam Foods' system for global accounting consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, attention to detail, a continuous improvement mindset and an interest in emerging finance technologies. OneStream experience is preferred but Roskam Foods will provide training and continuous education to build the appropriate skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

OneStream Administration (50%):

  • Manage and maintain the OneStream platform, ensuring its optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for OneStream-related issues.
  • Implement and configure future OneStream solutions in conjunction with third party support to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for OneStream processes and configurations.
  • Train and support end-users on OneStream functionalities and best practices.
  • Provide input into the OneStream and finance technology roadmap.

Month-End Accounting Tasks, Reporting, and Analysis (30%):

  • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Assist in the issuance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related reports.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to improve and streamline reporting processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.

Other Finance Systems Administration and Special Projects (20%):

  • Manage user profiles, monitor workflows, reporting and analysis in Accounts Payable, Expense Reporting and Contract systems.
  • Coordinate upgrades, educate the team on new capabilities as they become available.

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Prior experience with OneStream or similar systems is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Preferred:

  • 2 years+ experience
  • Public accounting and CPA certification are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make improvements
  • Experience with OneStream
