Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure, including network-attached storage (NAS), storage area networks (SAN), email and collaboration systems, file and print servers, and mission-critical application servers at Fort Bragg. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, web servers, and database servers.
Qualifications 3+ years experience in system administration of network storage, email servers, collaboration tools, and mission-critical IT services. Bachelor's degree in a related field desired. Must be Security+ certified (or hold an equivalent certification in compliance with IAT Level II). Must be MCA 365: Teamwork Administrator certified or able to obtain within six months of hire. Additional work-related certifications preferred including: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server Administrator. Expertise in server installation, configuration, and maintenance, including web, file, print, and application servers. Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and email host administration. Able to schedule and manage OS/software installations, security updates, and performance tuning. Proficient in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise IT environments. Experience working in DoD or Army IT environments, ensuring compliance with federal IT policies. Familiar with ITSM tools, system monitoring platforms, and remote administration. Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
