ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Accurately and quickly take and place all food orders with the kitchen.
• Answer all questions about cooking methods, menu items, special, and prices of all items.
• Prepare non-alcoholic beverage orders, deliver all beverage orders.
• Prepare the guest check accurately and present it before their departure.
• Perform all cash handling and room charge procedures in accordance to policies.
• Take room service orders and deliver to guests.
• Maintain communication with Bartenders and Restaurant Managers to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales; report all issues to shift supervisor.
• Assist in seating and greeting the guests when necessary.
• Assist to clean, clear and re-set tables.
• Clean and restock service items.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English with guests both in person and over the phone
• One year of employment in a related field preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Ability to effectively work in a team environment
• Ability to move quickly and stay organized
• Food Handler and TIPS certification
• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays; scheduled days and times vary based on need.
