As the Manager, Visual Inspection, you'll report directly to the Director of Operations and oversee a dedicated team of visual inspection and packaging technicians across three manufacturing sites. You'll be responsible for the final steps in delivering life-changing medicines-ensuring products are properly inspected, documented, packaged, and shipped in compliance with cGMP and internal SOPs.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and develop a team of up to 15 technicians, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence in inspection and packaging operations.

  • Own and manage the Visual Inspection Operator Qualification Program, ensuring adherence to the latest regulatory standards.

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) during audits by clients and regulatory agencies.

  • Monitor daily inspection, labeling, and bulk packing activities to ensure timely and accurate product release.

  • Investigate deviations, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

  • Track and report on key metrics including defect rates, inspection throughput, and delivery performance.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Validation, and Facilities to meet production and compliance goals.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training, process enhancement, and meticulous recordkeeping.

Who You'll Work With:

You'll collaborate closely with team members in Operations, Quality Assurance, Validation, and Facilities, as well as key external vendors.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related scientific or technical field

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in sterile parenteral manufacturing and 2+ years in a supervisory role

  • Deep expertise in Visual Inspection of both liquid and lyophilized parenteral products

  • Hands-on experience with aseptic processing and GMP-regulated environments (FDA/EU)

  • Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team
