About the role

The Information Security intern is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems. The intern will work with senior security analysts to identify and mitigate security risks, monitor security systems, and respond to minor security incidents.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.

• Conduct security assessments and audits.

• Monitor security systems and responding to security incidents.

• Conduct research on emerging security threats and technologies.

• Assist in the development of security awareness training programs for employees.

• Analyze event data and create reports for senior information security staff.

Who You Are

• Positive, motivated self-starter who can take an assignment and run with it.

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.

• Knowledgeable of security concepts and technologies.

• Familiar with security tools and technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
