Advanced Sonographer
Overview The sonographer performs general diagnostic ultrasound exams and related data for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician. You will perform all cardiac ultrasound (echocardiograms). This role also performs all routine vascular exams for evaluation of possible abnormal vascular defects or disease. Exams are digitally acquired, and measurements are obtained per each specific modality. The ultrasound tech ensures patient safety through the use of procedure protocols and policies. Takes call as needed. Associates Degree in related health science or graduate of an accredited program preferred in related field.
