Description
Essential Functions

  • Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."

  • Maintains accountability for safety on the project; conducts required evaluations pursuant to Safety


  • Responsible for the studies, plans, and developments of Lift Plans that specifically address crane size, configuration and necessary rigging to perform the lift.
  • Responsible for logistic and transportation studies for all heavy haul components Equipment and Modules etc.
  • Exercises supervisory control over the worksite and the critical lifting operations being performed.
  • Ensures crane operations are coordinated with other job-site activities and that the area for the crane is adequately prepared.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, standards, and manufacturer requirements.
  • Addresses safety concerns and implement precautions for special lifting operations.
  • Verifies that the lifting equipment being utilized on MSI projects are in proper operating condition and has the necessary lifting capacity for the lift.
  • Ensures that crane operators, riggers, and signal personnel are qualified and understand their responsibilities and associated hazards of the task that are assigned.
  • Serves as a competent trainer for rigging personnel.


Qualifications

  • 12 years + Proven experience in lift supervision and heavy haul related roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME B30 series) and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Additional certifications in rigging and crane operation and proficiency in using crane operation software and tools preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform physical tasks as needed. Climbing required.
